Here's a few pics from tonight's game. I have omitted pics of the game action, since you'll see those in the media anyway. Here's some other stuff that went on...
This is the HS cheerleader from Florida that Make A Wish Foundation sent to Honolulu to meet the UH Cheerleaders (whom she is a big fan of). There was thing on the news the other nite about her. She got to ride the surfboard during the team's entrance tonight.
Pre-game Haka...
The dancers were paddling to Five-O, but I didn't have a good angle to take pictures of them...lol...and I wasn't about to hike to the North End Zone just to get a shot...
There were times during the game (especially the 1st Qtr, when Chow was getting a little futless already. In this one, it looked like he was kinda getting on Schroeder's case. Like many on the boards have mentioned, he kinda zeroes in on his target and I notice he's really slow to deliver the ball--waits until the receiver is open (which is too late). He can't seem to anticipate when the receiver is going to break free and deliver early enough so that the ball is there at the same time the receiver gets open. He also seems to have trouble at times leading the receivers...Oh well. The passing game improved a lot in the 2nd half...
The half time entertainment was based on fairy tale stuff...sorta...The entire band was decked out in various Halloween costumes. Note the guy at the end of the cymbal line...I'm sure his parents are real proud of their college student...lmao!
The Sousaphone guys were the SEVEN(teen) Dwarfs...lol--they were pretty funny...
