Thanks for brining this to our attention. Have you tried using the "reply" button, rather than the "quick reply?" I was able to post a pic using this method.

Yes, tried 'reply' 'post' and 'modify' for existing post and could not paste a pic that i have previously and sucessfully pasted on the WSN Lakers thread under non-UH Sports.

Thanks again for brining this to our attention. Have you tried pasting the link, highlighting, and pressing the image button? I have been playing around with it, and I did notice that the picture above didn't come out when I pressed the image button first, and posted the link in between... If not, I will try and contact the website admins.

What i do is i highlight the image i want copy (by right-clicking and dragging mouse across the image to be copied), then right click on "save image" then when i go to post or reply i right click again on "paste" and then the pic image normally appears, this approach is simple and has worked for me on WSN and other Internet boards. It is weird that it is not working here. P.S. my browser is Google Chrome that I have been using for the past two years without a problem.

Even on the old board, I have used HTML tags instead to post pictures.
<img src="....">
You can also add width="..." to adjust the size if the pic is too large

So for me to post a picture I need to save it, then choose it as an attachment file. Just like Riverside, I don't have a problem on the WSN site.

Just click the Insert Image button, then put the URL to the image between the [ img ] Insert URL here [ /img ]

Just click the Insert Image button, then put the URL to the image between the [ img ] Insert URL here [ /img ] It works, but it's a pain to insert the URL between the two brackets. I guess I can live with it since I don't insert pics very often. Thanks.

Sadly, this would be a good crowd for the New Mexico game this weekend.

Also, for those of us that want to try and have our picture signatures here too, how do we go about doing that here. Gosh I'm so computer illiterate.

I find that the most reliable (not necessarily the easiest or simplest) way to post pictures is to use an image hosting site like Photobucket. Photobucket gives you several options with each image where you can automatically copy the HTML address, the Direct Image address, etc., which you can then paste into your post. It's reliable and in theory, will never go away.
As for avatars and signatures, it's like the WSN boards, you have to modify your profile. There is a button near the top for editing your profile. I will take some screen shots and try to create a post that has quick and dirty instructions...Maybe I can get it done by tonight...(I'm still stick in Guam...yuck)...

I can't post pics either. Hi Casper, Find a pic that you like on the web/media host site and copy the link address. Paste it on your posts, highlight the link, and click the "insert image" tab located on the "add tags" area on your post/reply. If you go for a quick reply, you will not have the tab, and you will have to manually use the HTML coding which is ( add link here[/img]). Take away the parenthesis. Have fun!
