I vaguely recall on the other board someone asking for some advice on a good wax for his new car. Having also recently purchasing a new car myself, I was also looking around. With that, I came across Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax. It's listed as a synthetic polymer (as opposed to being a natural carnuba) that claims to offer superior protection and shine with very little effort for apply and remove while not leaving behind any white residue on the non metal areas of your car.
I have to say that it's true about the easy application and removal. After washing, I got the waxing part done in less than an hour and it looked real good!
What other products out there are worthy of note?

As I mentioned on the other board 90% of the detailers buy from Auto Chem Systems in Kapolei. They are open to the public on Wednesdays and Saturdays and will assist you in trying to figure out what works for your particular car and finish.
